Ineke Samson is a speech-language pathologist at the Speech-Language Pathology department in Danderyd University hospital with almost twenty years of clinical experience in the field of speech fluency disorders. Ineke is recognized clinical specialist in the field of speech fluency disorders, in accordance with the Swedish Speech and Language Association criteria and a European Fluency Specialist in accordance with criteria developed by the European Clinical Specialization in Fluency consortium (ECSF). She has initiated and led the development of clinical guidelines for stuttering which were published in 2015 on the Swedish Speech-and Language pathologists Association’s website.
Since 2016 Ineke is a PhD student at Karolinska Institutet with dissertation planned for in December 2021. Her research interests focus on gender aspects in teenage females and males with fluency disorders. Ineke is also responsible for the content and structure of theory, practice, and assessment of fluency disorders at the Study programme in Speech and Language Pathology at Karolinska Institutet, where she has an ongoing teaching assignment since 2008.
