Marie-Christine Franken

Marie-Christine Franken graduated in Linguistics, certified as a Speech-Language Pathologist, and as a Fluency Expert, currently works at Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam,  Sophia Children’s Hospital.

In her current position she combines clinical work and research focused on stuttering (RESTART study, population based studies within Generation R’dam), and the speech and language development of very preterm children (Prelan study).  In addition, she teaches workshops on delivering stuttering treatment for pre-schoolers (RESTART-DCM and the Lidcombe Program).
