Jackson"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">is Associate Professor and Director of the stuttering and vvariability (savvy) lab at New York University. His research examines the variability of stuttering\u2014why people stutter on some words in some situations, but not on those same words in other situations. Dr. Jackson uses a multi-leveled approach including neural, behavioral, and qualitative methods to study social-cognitive and anticipatory processes as sources of stuttering variability. He is also a speech-language pathologist and clinical educator with more than 15 years of experience, as well as a person who stutters.
