International Conference On Stuttering 5th Edition 2024

In 2024, the International Conference On Stuttering is coming back with its 5th edition.
The conference will be held from October 24 to 26, 2024. For the first time since its fondation, it will be a hybrid event available both online and in-person in the picturesque setting of the Park Hotel Villa Grazioli in Grottaferrata.

The scientific committee, for the fifth edition has selected the theme “Expectations and needs of people who stutter: how researchers and clinicians answer the call” that the keynote speakers will address and explore in their talks.

The world of people who stutter is riddled with thoughts and behaviors that distort reality, limiting them in daily activities, from a simple phone call to an important job interview.

ICOS 2024 provides a unique opportunity to meet and discuss to guide clinicians in their search for a course of therapy that is tailored to goals that generate wellness in the patient’s life. The conference will try to provide the tools to support the stutterer through innovative and ad hoc therapies.

Research and clinic will find their common ground to promote the well-being of the person who stutters and dispel the false myths that rage among clinicians, patients, and parents.

They will alternate not only professionals from all over the world, but also people who stutter with their testimonies.
