Assistant Professor and Director of the Speech Therapy and Neuromodulation Laboratory within the Human Communication, Learning and Development Unit at the University of Hong Kong. He holds a master’s degree in Speech Therapy from Tehran University of Medical Sciences and a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience of Language from the University of Hong Kong. His main research interest lies in understanding the underlying aspects of speech deficits in individuals with stuttering, which include cognitive, linguistic, and sensorimotor factors. He is also interested in the connection between stuttering and bilingualism. Currently, his research focuses on exploring noninvasive neuromodulation methods to develop interventions for stuttering and other neurogenic communication disorders.
